From North or South on I-85, take exit 4 toward Bracey, VA and get on Va 903 going East. Follow Va -903 East for 10.5 miles. (VA-903 appears as Hwy Nine-0-Three on some signs, and also as Hendricks Mill Rd.At the T-intersection, turn right onto Va -903 S (also called Elam Rd.) and travel just over 1/2 mile to a stop sign. Turn right onto VA 903 S and go less than 1/2 mile to Lakeside Lutheran Church on the right. You will pass the Lake gaston Chamber of commerce on the right. Church entrance is the next dirveway. It is 15-16 miles from I-85, but one must travel 45 mph most of the way. If you are traveling South on I-95 take exit number 180 which is NC-48 towards Gaston. Follow NC-48 for 3.7 miles. You will be at a traffic signal. Turn right onto NC-46 West and travel 9.6 miles. Turn Left onto river Road, (also called Hwy 1214), following signs to Lake Gaston. the church is approximately 8 miles on the right. You will pass the Lake Gaston Chamber of Commerce on the right. |
