New Ministry Starts

Nineveh, a city centrally featured in the Hebrew book of Jonah, represents the people who everyone has given up on, but who God will never abandon.

Nineveh is a safe haven and house of healing for any and all seeking the justice, mercy and compassion of the Spirit, especially those on the margins: those suffering from addiction, their families and friends; and those seeking an affirming and inclusive faith community in the New River Valley.

Micah Street Church is an ecumenical ministry with individuals experiencing homelessness in Fredericksburg. Micah Street Church is a partnership between the Virginia Synod, the ELCA Churchwide organization, and Micah Ecumenical Ministries in Fredericksburg (www.dolovewalk.net) which is supported by nine different local congregations.

All Places Together (APT) is a non-geographic community, based in Virginia. We seek to gather individuals who are searching for God in the wilderness of life, individuals who deeply want to connect to something beyond themselves, and individuals who believe the love of Jesus is embodied in all of God’s diverse creation.

Whoever. However. Whenever

We are a digital community of God’s people who gather to worship, pray, and deepen our faith.

We know that church extends beyond its four walls, so we created a space where people from across the world and right down the street can gather.
