If you are a parish administrator, church secretary, pastor, or church archivist who is overwhelmed by the state of your parish register, church files, or archives; we are here to help. In partnership with Pastor Mary Anderson of Columbia, SC, we are offering a 4-week Zoom workshop from 4 PM to 5 PM on Mondays, October 5, 12, 19, and 26.
Pastor Mary Anderson will assist participants in developing a plan and a process for cleaning up a congregation’s messy or missing records and will give tips for faithfully maintaining those records moving forward.
The cost for the series is $30 per congregation. After registration closes, you will receive a Zoom link for the series that you can share with anyone from your congregation that you would like to participate in the workshop.
Pastor Mary Anderson is currently serving in her 44th year of ministry. She has served in both the South Carolina and Metro Chicago Synods and for the past ten years has served in five congregations as an interim pastor. Pastor Mary has also served as a teacher in contextual education and preaching at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary. As an expert in church administration, she’s seen plenty of messy records. Let’s talk about it!
