Fall Food and Faith Series: Bread for the World

The Virginia ELCA Hunger Committee is resuming its Food and Faith series. Fall sessions will include an emphasis on how to be an effective advocate for our brothers, sisters, and siblings who are hungry.  The conversation is an hour and takes place on Zoom.

Thursday, November 11 at Noon

The Rev. David Street, a Deputy Director with Bread for the World, will speak on advocating for hunger issues both nationally and internationally. Bread for the World is a non-partisan, Christian advocacy organization based in the United States that advocates for policy changes to end hunger.
