Alumni and friends of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary are invited to the Decommissioning Service on Wednesday, November 20 at 3 PM as the seminary prepares to move to Lenoir-Rhyne University’s Hickory campus. Bishop Sue Briner ’03 of the Southwestern Texas Synod will preside, and the Rev. Dr. Chad Rimmer will preach. The service will include holy communion and a liturgy of decommissioning the space. A reception will follow. Overflow seating will be available in Reinartz Hall where the service will be livestreamed. You also can watch the service online.
