Join the Virginia Synod Candidates and Candidacy Committee for their annual retreat at Eagle Eyrie, Lynchburg, on Friday, June 3, from Noon to Saturday, June 4 at Noon.
We will spend the weekend considering the ways we are called by God through our Baptismal promise to whatever it is we do, which is a process named discernment. There are many times in our lives when we discern where God is calling us, and what we do in response is considered our Vocation. Some people might even be called to be a pastor or deacon! Join us for a weekend retreat to practice discernment and consider where God is calling you.
Deacons and pastors, please invite anyone you know who is discerning God’s call in their lives. And plan to attend with them!
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all,
who is above all and through all and in all.”
Ephesians 4:4-6
