While Jesus talked frequently about money, many congregations and leaders do not. Six Weeks on Money is an online learning program currently being piloted in partnership with the ELCA to help individuals develop a healthy relationship with money.
This six-week online course discusses values, scarcity, agility, integrity, options, and giving. Normally, the course costs $80 per person, but as a part of the pilot program, the cost will be $10 per person with the rest covered by a grant. The Virginia Synod has approximately 60 slots available and is looking for 6-8 congregations who would like to offer this pilot program to their members and their community.
