Please pray for our ELCA missionaries!
Molly Beyer and Jill Disbro from the Virginia Synod join almost 100 new long-term missionaries and Young Adults in Global Mission who will begin their service this fall.
Both young adults are 2014 graduates of Roanoke College. Beyer, a member of Bethel, Winchester, will go to Madagascar and Disbro, a native of Columbus, Ohio, has been placed in Mexico.
According to the ELCA website, “The ELCA Young Adults in Global Mission program invites ELCA young adults ages 21-29 into a transformative, year-long journey in international service. As they offer themselves in service, ELCA young adults are shaped by the witness of our global neighbors. They share in the journeys of companion churches and organizations in one of nine countries around the world.”
