The Virginia ELCA Hunger Committee is resuming its Food and Faith series. Fall sessions will include an emphasis on how to be an effective advocate for our brothers, sisters, and siblings who are hungry.  The conversation is an hour and takes place on Zoom.

Thursday, September 9 at Noon

Virginia Interfaith Power & Light Co-Directors, Faith Harris and Kendyl Crawford will discuss food injustices, the intersection of water, transportation, and food deserts. They will illustrate ways individuals can advocate in their local communities. The mission of Virginia Interfaith Power & Light is to collaborate among people of faith and conscience to grow healthy communities by advancing climate and environmental justice.
